Take your finishing skills to the next level in this full-day, hands-on Stand-Up Finishing Class.
Together, we'll work through the process of creating a beautifully constructed gusseted stand-up—from preparing your stitched canvas and measuring your materials to assembling the piece by hand and adding custom cording.
This class is designed to take you from start to nearly finished, giving you the knowledge and confidence to complete future stand-up projects on your own.
Whether this is your first finishing class or you're looking to expand your skills, you'll receive plenty of individual instruction in a relaxed, encouraging environment.
Please bring:
• One completed stitched canvas appropriate for stand-up finishing (including the necessary extra rows)
• Backing fabric of your choice
• Cording materials in the colors of your choice (DMC #5 Pearl Cotton is recommended)
Many of the additional finishing materials used during class will be provided.
We'll take a lunch break around midday. Lunch is on your own.
Space is limited to provide plenty of individual instruction and hands-on guidance.
