Materials & Construction

Every project is thoughtfully finished using acid-free mat board and professional finishing techniques designed to preserve the integrity and longevity of your needlepoint.

Glue is used only when constructing gusset-style pieces and is limited to securing interior foam components when necessary.

Quality materials are carefully selected for each project to create a beautiful, heirloom-quality finish designed to be enjoyed for years to come.

Pricing Philosophy

Every finishing project is individually quoted based on its size, complexity, materials, and finishing style. A detailed estimate is provided and approved before work begins.

Typical starting prices include:

Ornaments — Starting at $65

Stand-Ups — Starting at $95

Pillows — Starting at $145

Specialty Finishing — Custom Quote

Additional materials, specialty fabrics, trims, and custom construction may affect final pricing.

Studio Policies

Deposit

A deposit is required to reserve your place in the finishing queue.

Remaining balances, including return shipping charges, are due upon project completion prior to shipment or pickup.

Turnaround Time

Projects are completed in the order they are received.

Current turnaround times generally range from 2–3 months, depending on project type, seasonal demand, and material availability.

Rush requests may occasionally be accommodated based on scheduling availability.

Shipping & Local Drop-Off

Projects may be mailed directly to The Salty Stitchery Studio or dropped off through one of my participating local needlepoint shop partners.

For mailed projects, please place stitched canvases and materials inside a waterproof bag (such as a zipper storage bag) before shipping for added protection during transit.
